'Triumphant Dorset and Wilts in thrilling Twickenham Encounter' - 30th May 2010 - RFU Report

Tries from Bournemouth's Scott Chislett, Jo Burns and Mike Pope help secure an historic 36-26 win over Leicestershire at Twickenham on the day of the England v Barbarians game. Having gone into the break 10-16 down with Leicestershire having much of the better of the second half of that first period, a stunning try right from the restart from Jo Burns who finished off a tremendous handling movement rocked Leicestershire. They were equally stunned a few minutes later by a Mike Pope score who rounded off another Dorset & Wilts three-quarter movement to run round and score under the posts. In the first half it was great support play from inside centre Scott Chislett that capitalised on a tremendous run from Liam Gilbert that saw the lock explode forty metres down field to open up the Leicestershire defence for the centre to run in and score near the posts. A great day and Dorset & Wilts can be proud of the win and the manner in which the game was won.
