Chairman's welcome to 2009/10 season

Welcome to the new Bournemouth Rugby Football Club website. The new site is still being actively developed so please check back soon for regular updates.

Season 2009/2010
Chairman’s Welcome
Believe it or not, the new rugby season is less than two months away—indeed the 1st XV play their first game, a friendly, in early August.
Attached is an information pack which we hope will whet your appetite for the challenge of the coming season. As well as enabling you to become a member you will find out how to obtain season tickets, take advantage of your membership to be able to apply for international tickets at Twickenham, sponsor a match/ball or even a player, join the fundraising venture of the 100 Club and why not join us on our golf day on August 1st.
Our newly-appointed commercial advisor has made good progress in his quest to surround the 1st XV pitch with advertising boards but don’t be shy in introducing anyone else who is willing to promote their firm/business in a similar manner. We have good crowds for matches at Chapel Gate for our own games but we also entertain other matches such as County Championship and Bournemouth University games. So there is good exposure to a fitting audience.
So seriously consider getting involved with Bournemouth Rugby Football Club and we hope we can look forward to seeing you at the first home game in a friendly against long-standing rivals Havant on August 29th or failing that at the first home league game against Chinnor on the 5th of September.
