Bournemouth Rugby in partnership with its Official Community Rugby Partner Rippa Rugby is providing experienced and creative rugby coaching into primary, secondary and schools for children who have moderate learning difficulties.
Bournemouth Rugby Community Apprentices and Rippa Rugby are currently coaching in 8 schools across Dorset providing experienced and creative coaching to over 550 children per week through P.E consultancy provision and after school coaching sessions. The schools in which we currently operate out of are:-

·Highcliffe St Mark
·Canford Heath Junior School
·The Bourne Academy
·St Peter’s RC Secondary School
Christchurch School Level 2 Tag Rugby Tournament
On 8th February 2017 Bournemouth Rugby and Rippa Rugby will be hosting and organising the Christchurch School Level 2 Tag Rugby Tournament where we see up to 10 schools converging on Chapel Gate Sports club and their Rugby pitches to play their annual tournament which sees the leading sides progress to the school’s sports finals held at Leaf Academy. For school sides that do not progress including those within Bournemouth, Poole and East Dorset we will be looking to offer a further tournament event.
Learning Disability Tag Rugby World Cup
Again on 22nd February 2017 Bournemouth and Rippa Rugby will be hosting the 8 Schools Learning Disability Tag Rugby World Cup where schools such as Linwood, Winchelsea, Victoria, Montacute, Yewstock, Wyvern, Mountjoy and Westfield Schools will be taking part in their own tag rugby tournament. Bournemouth Rugby Community Apprentices and Rippa Rugby will be providing coaching consultancy at Linwood School preparing children for this event.
