Bournemouth Rugby has been in partnership Rippa Rugby for the last five years has been providing experienced and creative rugby coaching into primary, secondary, and schools for children who have moderate learning difficulties.

Bournemouth Rugby Community Apprentices and Rippa Rugby are currently coaching in schools across Dorset providing experienced and creative coaching to over 550 children per week through P.E consultancy provision and after-school coaching sessions.

This season sees Bournemouth Rugby part ways with Rippa Rugby, we wish them every success with their future ventures.

Over the next 12 months, Bournemouth Rugby looks to build on the previous success of the community program, bringing all services in-house, offering new and exciting ventures with the community and schools. We are looking at working more closely with those disadvantaged in our community.

Rugby isn’t just a sport, it’s a way of life that has positive impacts not only on physical wellbeing but also mental wellbeing. It teaches respect, teamwork, discipline, enjoyment, and sportsmanship. Our community program will seek to bring this to the community.
