BRFC has a long tradition of "growing our own" players, our Youth and Mini section has been consistently successful since it was formed. 4 of the previous year's U18s plus another 6 former colts regularly played for the first XV during the 09-10 campaign so promotion can be rapid if you have the desire and skills.
Some players leave the area and go on to play for senior clubs, some their university or college, some stay on and play for the club - either in the Firsts and Seconds while others prefer to roll around in the mud on a Saturday.
Whichever path you chose the club seeks to promote the skills and companionship that the game provides to give you THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY AT THE LEVEL YOU CHOSE.
