Bournemouth Rugby seeks to enable all players to reach their full potential and actively encourage all those of the necesssary skill, potential and commitment to their own development and progression to try for selection to the D&W county squads.
The U18 squad play at least one 'selection' match followed by full matches against Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and Somerset. These matches are improtant in themselves but are also watched by the selectors from the RFU South West elite selectors. Outstanding players will be invited to South West trails from where they might make the England squad.Players can be nominated by the club or by their school. We can only nominate 3 so we encourage you to gain nomination through your school if at all possible.
The age limit for the U18 has reverted to the same as clubs and schools so you need to have been born after Sept 1st
First selection for the 10-11 squad will be held at Claysmore school on 19th Sept. 
If you feel you should be put forward please talk to or email Richard, Bob or Steve as soon as possible
The U17 squad will be nominated earlier this year, probably in October
