Coaches & referees play an important role at Bournemouth RFC in taking the quality of rugby to a higher level and creating an environment in which many children can enjoy playing rugby.

I would like to use this role to help improve channels of communication between age groups so that we can share coaching experiences, standardise on best practices and pass lessons learnt from age group to age group.

To ensure youth & mini coaches are kept up-to-date with any relevant news, please ensure I have your correct contact details.

Coaching & Referee Courses

Bournemouth RFC encourage & support all coaches & referees in developing their skills. It would greatly benefit all players if we had more qualified referees, so if you are interested, please let me know.

Below is a list of courses taking place locally.

Child Welfare

Team managers & head coaches are to ensure that all those directly involved with the players in their age group have a current, valid CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check. If you need any help with this please speak to the child welfare officer, Julie Fisher.
