Match report 27 October vs Blandford II The match started off quite evenly matched up with Blandford striking first blood with an unconverted try, the Bedouins swiftly switched on and our new addition Fabian Roberts carved up the opposition like a hot knife through butter with Jason Cook slotting the extras. With sound defensive work and slick handling we managed to get the try bonus point before half time. The 2nd half started well but we got a little sloppy for 15 minutes and allowed in 2 tries but with swift action and direct running we were able to respond with points of our own. A great display by Matthew Cooper who played 6 and was a fantastic link between backs and forwards and was rewarded with a brace of tries with hard elusive running. Luke Haine dominated the counter attack from the fullback position and got a pair of his own tries. Fabian Roberts dotted down twice and some meat for Antoine Pilcher, Matt Coxon and Ryan Rogers. Jason Cooke was accurate with 7 conversions from 9 attempts. Wrapping the game up wit 59 points to 17 to take The Bedouins to 4th on the log jumping 2 places. Unfortunately we lost Cameron Hart early in the 2nd half with a knee injury.
The Bedouins face Swanage & Wareham III’s this weekend in an away fixture and another win could see us move into 3rd spot on the table
