Bournemouth Sports Club Update

Bournemouth Sports Club
Chapel Gate, East Parley, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 6BL

Following on from our last update we’re pleased to be able to update you on further developments as we continue on our journey to enhance the club facilities.

Work has started on repairing the potholes in the car park. This will be completed after the Rugby 7s Festival to allow for the impact of the heavy lorries etc.

In addition, very shortly we will see the installation of two new artificial cricket pitches. The pitches were funded by the English Cricket Board, so we would like to extend our thanks to them for making this happen.

We are also reviewing our plans for the garden area following receipt of the grant from Tescos, and our proposals will be made available to members in due course.

Not all of the work that is underway to enhance the club facilities is as visible. We are currently working with colleagues at LV= to refresh our website. When we say refresh, we mean rebranding, making it more modern and more external facing. We are looking forward to a presentation of the new site later this month.

As always if you feel that you could help in some way, please do get in touch. We are planning another ‘Fix It’ day so will be reaching out for volunteers shortly.
