Bournemouth Director Of Rugby Will Croker insists there is more to come from his side despite opening the season with back-to-back bonus-point victories.
Following their away day half-century hammering of Old Pats last week in the season curtain raiser, they followed it up with a five-try success over traditional big hitters Barnstaple at Chapel Gate.
Croker’s side have now registered 12 tries in their opening 160 minutes of the season - but ever the perfectionist - Croker still wants more from his team.
He said: “It is a great start to the season for us so far, and I just said to the boys in the huddle at the end that they were two really hard first two games straight off the bat to analyse because there were areas of absolute brilliance but then there were some stuff where we were not clever and not smart and invited pressure onto ourselves.

But if you had given me 38-24 before kick-off against a Barnstaple side who were top of National Two South last year then I would have taken it without even thinking about it.
I think what is also pleasing is we know we have also still got boys to come back into contention, so I know we can also still improve further in certain areas - so that was probably only about a 60 per cent performance.”
Far from being down on his team’s performance, Croker is merely looking to find areas to get even better.
The scrum - in particular the front row - absolutely dominated their opposite numbers and looks to be a good weapon to build go-forward momentum from.
However, in stark contrast, the lineout did not function quite as smoothly and Croker said they may look there to iron out any wrinkles.
Croker added: “I think the defence on their lineout is something we have got to work on.
Our lineout is okay - we had a few changes today which just sort of affected the flow a little bit - and we had a few too many competed-for balls which is something we have got to work on.
We have got to throw where their jumpers aren’t.
But in the main we managed to set up a couple of mauls which I was pleased with so certainly defensively it is something to work on.”
