Youth Player of the month

Elliot Ware Under 9's

Elliot joined Bournemouth Rugby Minis mid-way through the 2015/16 season and soon became a popular member of his age group. Since then Elliot has progressed to become one of our stand out players. He is fully committed to all aspects of his game and regularly sets the standard for our other players to aspire to.

Elliot is held in high regard by the coaching team, not only for his attitude and application, but also for the enjoyment he shows when playing. A fearless and committed defender when not in possession of the ball, Elliot is equally potent in attack through his speed, agility, support of team mates and reading of the game situation in front of him.

There are a number of talented players in the U9s and while it is great for us to have a player with Elliot's ability it is his personality, behaviour and enthusiasm for rugby that has been the deciding factor in receiving this award. Elliot is one of those players who really wants to learn and play rugby, week in, week out. He always does everything that is asked of him, sets the right example to team mates and opponents alike and always has a smile on his face. He naturally exhibits the TREDS core values in everything he does and this award is well deserved.

Well done Elliot! You are a great representative for Bournemouth Rugby U9s.
