Bournemouth Rugby have teamed up with The Stable Bournemouth for player of the month. Players are nominated by the team coaches and the winner is presented with voucher for The Stable Bournemouth, a pre-match lunch with a parent and to walk with the first team captain on a match day.

This month's Stable player of the month is

Ollie Moore

from the under 12's

Ollie only arrived at Bournemouth Rugby Club at the beginning of last season, having spent his formative years in Australia, he quickly settled in with the squad, rapidly building new friendships and becoming a popular team member. His natural ability, speed and fearless attitude on the rugby pitch mark him out as stand-out player, but, more importantly, he partners this with a great enthusiasm for the game, he trains like he plays, not simply going through the motions, but giving 100% effort, he intelligently questions coaching points and always shows a willingness to learn and improve, he is very humble, always smiling, with an all-round modesty belying his early years. Ollie demonstrates great handling skills consistent with a player who has been coached on the subcontinent, his offensive tackling and commitment at the breakdown are exemplary and he provides a vocal presence on the pitch, encouraging and communicating instructions; primarily, he clinically executes the basic skills at pace, selflessly brings others into the game, inspires his team mates and displays great leadership qualities.

Put simply, Ollie exhibits all of the core values we look for in a player: Teamwork, Respect, Enthusiasm, Discipline, Sportsmanship and is a great asset to Bournemouth Rugby Club.
