Welcome to the under 6 age group. The under 6's are the youngest age group at Bournmeouth Rugby. We provide a fun, safe environment to introduce your youngster to the world of rugby. We encourage ball handling, spatial awareness, team work, Good behaviour, and most important of all we have lots of FUN!!!!

The Coaches

The lead coach for the 2018 / 19 season, is Neil Rose.

Bournemouth Rugby will ensure all our coaches have a DBS check and clearance to work with our children. They will also be encouraged to attend Continual Professional Development courses provided through the Rugby Football Union such as safeguarding children, Rugby Ready and Tag Rugby as part of the coaches developmental matrix

Training Details

The U6's do not play any competitive matches although there maybe some opportunities for us to have joint training sessions both home and away with teams across dorset. We usually train for 1 hour on a Sunday morning from 10.30am to approximately 11:30am New players of all abilities are always welcome for a free trial.

It is important to note that coaches & managers are often Moms and Dads themselves and volunteer their time to support the club and the kids. So it is essential that parents support the club and the Under 6's by helping out and putting themselves forward for support and coaching roles within the under 6's age group. Player membership

New players are always welcome and can just turn up and join in the first few sessions are free. If you would like more information contact a manager or coach. Full membership for an under 6 player currently stands at £48. We also offer attractive family memberships which offer far greater benefits to the whole family.
